Michael London has 35 years of retail experience with an emphasis in Consumer Electronics and Major Home Appliances. His skill set has resulted from assignments including Customer Insights and Strategy, Merchandising, Procurement, Global Sourcing and Store Operations.
Michael has always focused on innovation, differentiation, and execution as he works to understand customer needs, both internal and external. He strives to understand what each customer segment needs in order to be successful while anticipating fast-moving technological innovations, customer insights. His rich knowledge of retail enables him to execute ideas into reality... a solution.

As an innovative leader, Michael understands that the right people in the right jobs with the right skills can be motivated and mobilized to achieve great results that some may have thought impossible. People know Michael does not have a personal agenda. His focus is on delivering superior results that will make the Company more successful creating more opportunity for all employees.

During his tenure at Best Buy, Michael achieved several accomplishments vital to Company success, including:

Leading visual merchandising during the development of new store concepts
Successfully introducing new brands into the Best Buy mix
A leader in the transformation of the Merchandising function that lead to significant top and bottom line performance
A leader in Best Buy's drive to being a Customer-Centric organization that has driven significant differentiation in the industry
Leading the Company's merchandise global sourcing team focused on providing a competitive advantage in the marketplace
After semi-retiring in June of 2005, Michael continued to work with Best Buy on the evolution of its Customer-Centric Model, focusing on the Hispanic market as well as providing mentorship on the Company's global sourcing efforts.
Michael retired in July of 2006 and set up a consulting firm in 2007 and has provided services to ToysRUs, Accenture, and Polaroid (CEO).
Michael currently serves as an officer on the Hodges University Foundation Board, a private accredited university serving SW Florida, and is a Board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Lee County, Florida. He shares his time between Florida and Minnesota with his wife Susan.
Michael received a BA in Psychology from Duke University.
